Dear Family and Friends,
Hello. Thank you so much for all of your support. We have had a busy week. Lots going on. My district leader asked Sister Havron and I to give a training this wednesday at District Training Meeting on how to put people on date to be baptized because we have the most out of our whole zone. We have prayerfully planned a training already and we are going to make it fun for the Elders so we are going to play jeperody at the end and had out treats to the winner. I have really come to like enoch and parowon. Its nice to take a breather even though we are still working hard. An elder said a nice thing to me the other day he said ya know Sister Raleigh he is like I like you as a missionary because you are a good example to all that you can still have fun on a mission but you work really hard. I thought it was really nice. He said I balance things well. If I didnt laugh I think I would just go crazy. Luckly we have elders who make us laugh all the time and my companion and I do alot. Dad were you ever an Assistant to the President? I thought you told me you were? At Zone Conference Elder Shingleton who is the AP told me that President had me going to BYU Campus this transfer but he switched me to enoch last minute. Everything happens for a reason. I think it would be fun to serve there. Who knows maybe. It made me sick to think the other day that I only have six more months on my mission starting on March 17. I try not to think about it. Time has flown by. I am so glad the Lord is blessing you. In my personal prayers I pray that my family will be blessed abundantly and the Lord is and I am grateful to him. Did you get my pictures that I sent in the mail??? My recent convert Mark Marbot said he was pondering why we have to be baptized by water he just didnt understand but he found the answer in the scriptures he looked at moses 6:60 look it up and tell me what you think. I like that scripture. Well the work is moving forward here in enoch we spoke in two wards yesterday and it went welll and then we are speak twice a week for the next 3 weeks so we can get the work going. Get the members excited. and its working we are receiving referrals for parowon where there is usually not alot of work. We had something sad happen to us this past week. But then we had something great we had a baptism on saturday for a little 9 year old boy. His parents are Less active. The spirit was very strong I prayed that the boys parents hearts would be open to it at the baptism and you could tell they were touched. We have had 4 baptisms in the last 3 weeks and we have 2 for sure more coming up. Two are on hold. The sad thing that happened to us this week is that wayne joiner who is a 50 year old truck driver was going to be baptized he is amazing. He quit smoking and he is doing so well. Well he divorced his wife jill a few years back however he is disabled and he was homeless and couldnt work so his ex wife let him move back in and her mother lives in the home too so there is no law of chastity breaking in the home he sleeps in the kitchen and she sleeps with her mother in the bed room its the smallest house you have ever seen. They dont even really like each other. She said that she just was being a good christian and Heavenly Father told her that he needed to live there. So it completely blanked sister Havron and my minds that he cannot be baptized if they are living in the same home from the first presidency of the church. So we get to the interview and the elder interivewing him comes out and is like he cannot be baptized he cannot be living in the home with his ex wife. This was last friday and he was suppose to be baptized on Saturday. So it was heartbreaking for all of us. Because I mean he was homeless and is on disability. I felt so sad all of us did because he was so close. So brother free our fellowshipper helped him and consoled him and told him this is just a trial. I was crying and sister havron was crying. So then his ex wife calls us and she is less active already and she was going off on us and saying Heavenly Father told me he was suppose to liive here and your saying he needs to move out and get a job just so he can be baptized and we were like well you cannot live together AVOID THE APPEARANCE OF EVIL, lady. I said look if you want a better explaination you can call our mission president Im sorry and she just hung up. So we havent talked to them since but we have been praying and praying. It was unfortuante what happened but we have an appointment with them tomorrow with Wayne I am really nervous I have been praying for the word of what to say. We decided we are going to not even mention the law of chastity because they are not breaking it at all but focus on the posistive like how much he has progressed to get this far and he quit smoking like cold turkey. Just right after we told him too and hasnt smoked since. He is amazing. I know he will get baptized I just dont know when. Pray for Wayne please. I want to thank everyone for there gifts and cards and pictures I had the best mission birthday. Thank you so much mom and dad for the box what happened is after zone conference I had the driver drive all of us to the visitor center so I could the box and I get there and it wasnt there so I called Elder Swinton the VC director and he has already taken it to the post office and shipped it off to enoch so I got it on Friday morning. But I loved the cookies and cards and nuts!!!! Espeically the speical card. The stocker man doesnt know where I live. THANK GOODNESS he creeped me out. I am fine I will probably never seen him again I hope. I am so glad little elle and tara came. I got the cutest photo album for my birthday of elle from tara and bryce she is so adorable. I cant wait to hold her. Well as for my birthday it was a blast!!! I think that was a tender mercy from Heavenly Father to have zone conference on my birthday. About 12 of us drove down in the morning in a huge van the elders and sister havron and I are the only sisters in our district. We told jokes and cracked up on the ride down. Then I was able to see all the sister from the visitor center!!! All my sister friends. We have never had a general authority come speak at zone conference on my mission but that day we did we had from the first quarom of the 70 Elder Joseph Diseheta. He gave an amazing talk on following the spirit. He drove 4 hours from salt lake city to be with us just for an hour and then right when he was done he had to go back to SLC so he drove 4 hours. His wife bore her testimony too. It was awesome. You can look him up in the ensign. Very humble man I knew he was called of GOD. He was a mission President in Brazil a long time ago. Then at lunch time at zone conference there were probalby like 150 of us there. The Missionaries got me a big birthday cake that I didnt even know they were going too and presents and I was the middle table of the room and We lit the cake and everyone sang happy birthday to me. It was very speical. It made my day it was a surprise. Then we the rest of zone conference was amazing. We went tot he visitor center after to get my box wasnt there so went home. On the way home we got pulled over by a cop but talked our way out of it because we were sister missionaries which they ususally dont give us tickets not to sound VAIN. BY the way I WASNT driving. Hint hint...Then our investigators made dinner for us and we had cake again. IT was a great day!! Well Again I am enjoying every second of my mission it is flying by. Thank you for all the birthday wishes. I have some pictures to send home. I love you with all my heart!!! I miss you!! Love SIster Raleigh
