LINNAE CHRISTMAS LETTER

Dear Family and Friends, How is everything. Thanks for the email. It definately will be different not being at home with all of you for christmas but it will be fun here in St. George. Everything is going well. My health is doing well except I have been just so exhausted since yesterday. I hope I am not getting the flu. Sister parry had it and gave it to sister cannon and now I feel very achy. NOT GOOD! Well I have come to have such a better understanding and gratefulness for the atonement of our savior. Whenever I feel inadquate or weak he helps me. Also my mission I can truely say has changed my life for the better. I will be half way through here this transfer. It goes by too fast. The Lords prepares us for callings. I see that alot of my mission each transfer. Also I really have come to know through my mission my heavenly father and jesus Christ. Yes dad it is a sacrifice but the best sacrifice this is the least I can do compared to the saviors sacrifice. I challenenge each of you to be more obedient in your lives to keep all the commandments. Also to find people around you who are Non members or less actives and testify of our savior this holiday season. We have 5 people who will be baptized by the end of the transfer. I love my area the stakes and the people I serve with here in St.George. The Miracles that I have seen on my mission confirm to my spirit that heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and that they hear and answer our prayers and that they are mindful for each one of His children. Please Pray for Kevin Graham and AJ Muelnickel. They need alot of help right now. These are my investigators and satan is really working hard on them. I also can see satan working rreally hard on me right now. I have really just learned to rely on Christ at this time. I talk to heavenly father all day everyday constantly literally from minute to minute. Whether out loud or in my head. It is what keeps me going and keeps me sane. I love him so much. I am so glad for the gift of prayer. I have gained a HUGE testimony of prayer. Thank you so much for the boxes of treats, the $, the gifts, cookies!!!!!I feel so blessed to have a family who is so giving and loving. I really appreciate it. We are planning on making the cookies and giving them out on christmas day and caroling to all of our investigators. I havent opened my gifts yet i want to wait more towards christmas. Isnt that such a neat word CHRISTMAS. IN spanish "mas"means more. And our goal this transfer as missionaries is to have more of Christ in our lives. To testify of him. what a great time to have Christmas or More of Christ in our lives not just now but always. Did you watch the Christmas devotional with the 1st presidency? I loved all the talks but especailly the prophets about have more time for christ in our lives. His invition is for us to come unto him. That is the best invitation any one of us could have. This is going to be a speical and memorable christmas I think. Wow President really said some nice things about my work and I appreicated it. It took me about 6 months to adjust to my mission. Now I love it. This is what he said because I wrote him a letter telling him thanks for talking to my parents he told me boy your parents sure love you!! haha and I told him right back well I sure love them. We both laughed I had a great interview with him the other day.MERRY CHRISTMAS< LOVE SISTER RALEIGH
